How to play Bloons Tower Defense 5: Place, Align, Block

Core objective: Prevent any balloons from reaching the end of the track. Do this by placing monkey towers along the path to blast them away.

Entering the race track

Choose a track

Choose a track that suits your skill level. Each map has its own characteristics, such as Monkey Lane and Tunnels, Switch, or Clock. They all have at least one Activated Skill.

Place monkey towers

The game has 21 types of defensive towers. Each type has its own attack method: throwing spears, sniping, throwing bombs, nailing… You strategically place them along the race track.

Bloons' Movement

Bloons are the main enemy in the game. Balloons are arranged in layers; you need to shoot them repeatedly to make them explode. Each subsequent round is more difficult than the previous one.

Bloons come with two unusual phenomena: Camo and Regrow, making them harder to explode.

When you shoot and explode Bloons, you will receive in-game currency called Monkey Coins. Use that currency to place new towers and upgrade existing ones or unlock special agents.

Game Interface Guide

• The main interface includes the race track area in the center and the tower toolbar on the side of the screen.
• Interact with the mouse to complete all game tasks.
• When you select a tower, the upgrade panel appears with two vertical columns, each with four levels.
• The activation icon is located in the bottom corner of the tower after it has been upgraded sufficiently.
• The top of the screen displays the number of lives, current money, and the current round.
• You can adjust the game speed (slow, normal, fast) and enable auto-play to enter the next round.
• For directional towers, select the target priority mode: First, Last, Nearest, Strongest.
